MANILA, Philippines – In a landmark ceremony held on August 18, 2025, Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) and Exist Software Labs, Inc. officially signed a ceremonial agreement to drive CREC’s Energy Digital Transformation Journey. This milestone signals a digital leap for the renewable energy sector, bringing together top executives to formalize a shared commitment to innovation and the Philippines’ clean energy transition.

As CREC expanded its footprint across the Philippines, the sheer volume of data became a challenge that manual processes could no longer keep pace with. Managing a diverse portfolio of 13 solar facilities, a run-of-river hydro project in Isabela, and a pipeline exceeding 5 GW required more than just hard work—it required a “digital backbone”.
The “story” behind this project is one of moving from complexity to clarity. Before this transformation, processing energy data was a labor-intensive endeavor.
