MANILA, Philippines – April 6, 2017 — Exist Software Labs, Inc., a global consulting and IT solutions leader will reveal the value of implementing digital transformation to achieving business success in its participation at the ASEAN-Japan Innovation Meetup slated on April 7 at Sumitomo Fudosan Shibuya Garden Tower, in Tokyo, Japan.
Organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry; The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA); ASEAN Economic Ministers and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Consultations – Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC); and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the ASEAN-Japan Innovation Meetup is an important investment promotion event designed to help business people from Southeast Asian countries identify potential partners, discover new business, or find new investment opportunities in Japan.
“Business success is dependent on many factors and one is adapting to local settings because that is where its customers are from,” according to Michael Lim, President and CEO of Exist Software Labs Inc. “But as a tool, technology goes beyond boundaries. Digital transformation is a set of tools as well as a mindset for businesses that want to expand globally while optimizing what it is currently being done in its plate of priorities.”
Exist has been at the forefront of developing innovative technology solutions for enterprise industry leaders for years and has helped companies from a diverse range of industries — retail, telecommunications, healthcare, banking and finance across APAC and the US implement modern digital technologies like big data, mobile, and cloud, to drive business growth.
“Japanese technology and manufacturing remain world-class”, adds Michael. “But then any business needs to evolve with its market, continually refreshing products and proposition, reaching new sets of customers and growing the value of existing ones, this is where digital transformation comes in.”
The ASEAN-Japan Innovation Meetup expects to draw ASEAN and Japanese companies and venture capital firms from various industries such as information technology, digital, the Internet of Things (IOT), and finance technology or Fintech. This one-day event serves as a productive venue for developing and strengthening mutual cooperation between ASEAN and the Japan regions.
Activities lined-up include symposium, expo, presentations, business matching and networking events aim to facilitate the start of cooperative activities between ASEAN start-ups, including conglomerates, on one side, and all types of Japanese companies on the other side, ranging from large-scale companies to SMEs and start-ups.
Michael acknowledges, “We are very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the ASEAN-Japan Innovation Meetup 2017 and showcase our capabilities and industry-leading portfolio. It is a strategic and timely move for us as we look to further expand our presence in Japan”.
